If You Have Any Of These Symptoms,
You May Be At Risk For Infection
Of HIV And Should Be Tested.

Unexplained weight loss of more than 10 pounds in less than 2 months

Unexplained fever lasting more than 2 weeks

Swolen glands - enlarged lymph nodes in the neck, armpits, and groin

Night sweats lasting for several days

Dry, continued coughing, not caused by smoking or cold

Unexplained and long-lasting bloody stools or diarrhea

Constant tiredness, not caused by physical activity or depression

Dark blotches or bumps on or under the skin, inside the mouth, nose, eyelids or rectum

White patches in the mouth

You Do Not Get AIDS From:

Sitting on a toilet seat

Using public pools or health spas

Washing clothes at a public laundry

Donating blood

Working or going to school with someone who has AIDS

Being in the same room with an AIDS infected person

Eating food in a public place
