What's Up

Issue #18
Nov. 22nd - Dec. 6th  1996

Tammy Faye says in her new book "Telling It My Way" that
their love making was definitely addictive. I think the
homosexual community are the lucky ones here.

The official counts are not concluded yet but it appears that
Bob Dornan has lost his congressional seat to a relative newcomer
in his California district. This is certainly good news for the Gay
community, since Dornan is one of the most Anti-Gay legislators
in the Congress.

Vern Baker must be planning on making an updated version of
the old movie classic "Coming Home", because that is exactly
what is happening at his Club. His old crowds are coming home.
Whether it is the new look of the place, or his recent flurry of
promotions, success seems to be going his way. Now, if only he
could grow some hair.

It has been a bad year for Richard, owner of Tear-Ez Nite Club.
He lost his partner David earlier in the year and recently lost his
son, Richard. Our heartfelt condolences.

Final figures are in for the "Art From The Heart" art auction,
sponsored by C.A.N. Those that were involved with the planning
of that great benefit are very excited and are already talking of
next year. I think that we can definitely plan on a "Art from the
Heart II" as well as an Akron version of Dancing in The Streets.
