else is in charge, right boys?" Dan said with a sneer. "You can only rape somebody?" Vince covered his private parts with his hands. "We didn't mean nothing by it, friend. We Just wanted to have a good time and thought you and your friend were having fun, too." "Yes, we just wanted to have some fun," pleaded Clarence. "We didn't mean nothing by it. Just a couple of good ole boys having a good time with you and your friend." "You tied my friend to a tree," said Dan. "Now, I got some rope here, let me tie you boys to these chairs." Dan motioned with the pistol and the two men sat down in straight-back wooden chairs. Dan quickly tied them to the chairs. He tied their legs wide apart, leaving them exposed. "What do you think I have in mind, boys?" Dan asked. "I guess you want to play a game with us, like we did with you and then let us go," Vince said. "No, it's going to be better than that. I'm going to see that you never rape anyone again." A shot echoed through the cabin and then a second shot. Men screamed and blood flowed across the floor. Dan walked to the door, smiled at the men and said, "See you around, fellows." He opened the door and walked out on the porch. He looked back into the cabin and fingered the inside of the door, locking the door. He walked to his car got in and drove slowly and deliberately back to Akron. He stopped at a Dairy Mart and bought an ice cream cone, chocolate. When he got to his house, he went in and took off his clothes. He scrubbed himself in the shower for almost an hour. His tears mixed with the water from the shower. Finally, when he was composed, he built a fire in the fireplace, although it was still summer and he burned his picnic clothes and Mike's clothes. Then, still nude, he laid down on his bed and reached for the telephone and dialed Mike's number. [Remember Mike has a date with Gregg. Has Gregg left Mike's house? Will Mike want to talk to Dan?
