Ready, Set,... It's Club Dance Season
The air-waves are thumping, just be sure
to give these jammin'
selections a listen. "Living In Ecstasy" by the sultry Fonda
Rae,
something new from Fonda, this cut is sure to "bump" its way
up
the charts. Speaking of thumping... you can feel the rhythm and
beats from Chaka Khan and Me'shell Ndegeocello. They are
paired on a collaboration of Reprise Records to give you a powerful
song called "Never Miss The Water." Trust me. You won't want
to
miss this song. Also back on the charts, is Amber. Remember her
club hit "This Is Your Night"? Amber is certainly making her
mark
on the dance scene. Her second, soon to be hit, "Colour Of Love",
is now pulsating through area clubs. Request it! It is sure to get
your blood pumping and your feet jumping.
Whitney Houston's new movie, "The Preacher's
Wife" showcases
various styles on the album. We're graced with a wealth of riches, in
that we get 15 incredible Whitney songs, and the best in pop, R&B,
and gospel music. The first single off the album, "I Believe In You
And Me", has that can't miss Houston sound. She's just released the
second single this week, "Somebody Bigger Than You And I", with
an all-star jeep-funk jam that teams Houston with Bobby Brown, Faith
Evans, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant, and Monica (that's Monica the
singer, not Monica the drag queen). By the way, where has Monica
been lately? Can't wait to hear her sing "Get Here". To really
push
this album, Annie Lennox has written, and is featured with Whitney
on the track "Step By Step" that is sure to give the DJs a huge
mixing option. Whitney's also accompanied on the album by Shirley
Caesar, Cissy Houston, and The Georgia Mass Choir. How's that for
a multi-cultural collaboration?!!!
