What's Up

Issue #22
Jan. 24th ~ Feb. 7th   1997

It's my bet that any and all forms of prerecorded media will be
available on demand all the time. You want to see the 14th episode
of "I Love Lucy", 13 minutes, 22 seconds in, freeze frame....
You got it. A nice extra bonus of this sort of thing is that it won't
cost millions to publish stuff any more. If people want to put out full
length feature films, CDs, or books, all they need to do is prepare it
once for the Internet and it is available to the whole world. --No more
mass publication costs! I think this will spawn huge volumes of
independent media art projects, and create whole new thriving
communities of people who are now unconnected and in obscurity,
scattered all around the planet. JL :o)
