TO THE EDITOR; Subject: Capt. Button a gay suicide?

The radio station of the New York Times just reported
that Air Force sources suspect Capt. Button committed
suicide by crashing his plane (perhaps laden with nuclear
weapons) into the Rockies because he feared being exposed
by a former lover as being gay. Now we know how national
security is strengthened by don't ask / don't tell /
don't pursue. Obviously, this highly qualified soldier
would be serving the country today, were it not for our
insane policies. Shall we report that Button was murdered
by Sam Nunn and Bill Clinton's murderous and immoral
compromise?

GAY PEOPLE AND ADVERTISERS; Ellen's coming out
show is a very good example of homophobia in advertising.
Although Chrysler Corp. suspended its ads until they get
the results of a telephone survey they are conducting, it
is still quite evident that they are allowing the
conservative right to dictate corporate policy.
Fortunately, VW, MCI and The Gap had no such phobias. I
also understand that several other companies also have
refused to advertise, but since we have been unable to
confirm it, I will save it till another issue. But once
again I say to you;
TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO PLACES THAT ARE
KNOWN TO BE GAY FRIENDLY. THE GREATEST
POWER THAT WE HAVE IS OUR POCKETBOOKS.
There are plenty of advertisers
targeting gays, patronize them.
